Police have charged Woodridge man Paul John Conoley, 38, with Mr Imber’s murder. They will allege Mr Imber and another patient had an argument after one of them tried to “jump the queue”.

What your cat really thinks about you

Cat behaviourist Dr Kim Kendall says that unlike dogs – who look to humans for guidance and are trapped in a permanent state of babyhood – cats are rather more critical when it comes to judging their owners. “Cats think of humans as incompetent cats,” she said. “To them we’re very clumsy and lack skills. Unlike dogs, cats don’t have concepts of hierarchy or submission. The fact they bring you mice is because they see you as incompetent, as unable to catch one yourself.”
