DES Hasler has hailed the defensive grit of Canterbury heading into tonight’s NRL game against South Sydney.

The Bulldogs coach said he was “super pleased” with the resolve his side had shown in defending their goal line.

“I’m super pleased with the effort they’re working at, particularly in defence,” he said.
