HERE’S CHEERS TO 20 BIG YEARS
ASK Terry Morris how his beloved Sirromet Winery is going and he bubbles (sorry) with enthusiasm.
“It is 20 years since we started and when I did everyone said I was mad – which was probably true,” he laughed.
“The winery has become so much more than I could have imagined but the journey has been so much fun. We have won so many awards which is great but what really pleases me is it gives so much pleasure to so many people.
“This Sunday we are launching our inaugural Burning of the Vines Festival which is based on the French tradition of marking the end of the harvest. About 6000 people are expected, so it will a lot of fun.”
