RFG’s slice of Indian pizza action

GOLD Coast food giant Retail Food Group has struck a deal to expand its Pizza Capers brand to India.

The company has unveiled it has teamed up with Krsna Foods (India) Pvt Limited in a master franchise agreement for the gourmet pizza brand, but did not reveal how many locations were planned.

Chief executive international Mike Gilbert described the deal as a “watershed event” and said it set-up the company for further global expansion.

“Pizza Capers has enjoyed success in the Australian market, and we are excited to be partnering with local experts who share our vision for introducing gourmet pizzas to Indian consumers,” he said.
