QR should apologise

-

PREMIER Annastacia Palaszczuk is calling for Queensland Rail to apologise to every passenger left trapped on a train for almost three hours but stopped short of calling for heads to roll.

Dozens of people could do nothing but sit and wait, mostly in the dark, on Friday night as their train on the Ferny Grove line came to a standstill between stations.

Passengers vented their anger on social media and reported some on board had resorted to urinating in the carriage because of the wait. QR blamed the fault on a flying fox coming into contact with the overhead wires.
