BIRTHDAY JOY FOR HAPPY MAX

THE legendary Max Kirwan, ex-Melbourne motor dealer, hasn’t lost his love of things that go vroom. The Main Beach resident turned 91 this week and his wife Nicole bought him a Ford Mustang convertible, red of course. He was spotted, top down, (the car not Max), doing his usual early morning run in Tedder Avenue in the red rocket. Then it was off to the yacht club for sunset drinks where Max played Happy Birthday to himself on his beloved trumpet. And here’s to many more, Max.
