EVERYONE HAD BALL AT RAFFLE

-

BOYS will be boys. The Gold Coast Rugby Pathways lunch was a fundraiser to help local male and female rugby players achieve their dreams.

Naturally raffles were part of that effort but instead of tickets it was decided to take a novel approach and instead use a small foam football.

After the main prize was drawn a few of the many, many non-winners, (or losers to be politically incorrect), jokingly threw their footballs at the main stage. That, in turn, led to a hailstorm of balls which mostly landed in and around the top table where Bond’s Vice Chancellor Tim Brailsford was sitting with other VIPs.

Lots of laughs as the dignitaries ducked and weaved the projectiles. Incoming!
