FARAH V TAYLOR

Wests Tigers sampled one of the code’s biggest spats as star hooker Robbie Farah went head-to-head with coach Jason Taylor. Farah ended 2016 in reserve grade and now spends his time at South Sydney.

BENNETT V HODGES

While perhaps fewer words were exchanged, Broncos boss Wayne Bennett, through dropping a young Justin Hodges to reserves, made it known exactly what he thought of his decision to switch to the Roosters for 2002.

While more of a club issue with Nathan Ross than a beef by coach Nathan Brown, the Knights winger got dropped earlier this year after claiming he deserved a healthier deal. His banishment lasted a week.
