Three Brits face caning

THREE British men who sexually assaulted a woman while on an overseas stag party trip will be caned and jailed.

Khong Tam Thanh, Le Michael and Vu Thai Son, all in their 20s, admitted taking turns assaulting a drunken Malaysian woman in Singapore.

They were originally charged with rape but admitted the lesser offence of sexual assault at the city-state’s High Court after a four-day trial.

Caning involves the offender being restrained naked on a trestle and whipped with a rattan cane.
