CANOE CHAMPIONSHIPS HIGH TEA FUNDRAISER Burleigh Heads/Mowbray Park SLSC, Burleigh Heads

ANOTHER great community event this time atop the Burleigh Heads Mowbray Park SLSC. The Ladies High Tea on Saturday afternoon was a fundraiser to help local paddlers Daniel Mole and Erin Blanch achieve their dream. The duo are competing in the ICF Canoe Marathon World Championships next month in South Africa and the money raised will help offset some of the costs. The two wonderful young Gold Coasters are excitedly looking forward to the trip and if you would like to support them, contact the surf club.
