STEALING, BROADBEACH

POLICE are looking to talk to a woman who may have some informatio­n about a stealing offence at a Broadbeach shopping centre. A woman, who had a baby with her at the time, allegedly stole a scarf from a high-end designer store on August 3, around 3pm.

The woman is described as being aged in her mid-30s, about 172cm tall with long, badly died yellowy, blonde hair, possible extensions, a lot of fake tan and with a slim build wearing long, wide leg, taupe-coloured pants and a black long-sleeve top and black high heels.

POLICE are looking to identify two men who may have informatio­n relating to the theft of mail from a Currumbin resort.

Around 5.05pm on July 30 two men entered the foyer of the Pacific Parade resort and walked up to the mail pidgeon holes.

Mail was removed from a large number of the pdgeon holes by one of the men while the other held an open backpack.

The men then fled from the resort.

POLICE are seeking to identify a man in relation to a stealing offence at a liquor store in Coombabah. Around 5.15pm on July 28 a man entered the liquor store on Hansford Road and picked up two bottles of Cognac. He then went to the back of the store where he placed one of the bottles down the front of his pants.

The man attended the front counter to pay for one of the bottles of alcohol but told the attendant he forgot his wallet. He left the store with one bottle of cognac down his pants, leaving the other on the counter.
