Simple steps to help at servos

POLICE are working with local service stations to prevent petrol drive-offs in Surfers Paradise.

Officers are asking drivers to follow four steps before they begin refuelling their car, including turning off the engine, locking the car, removing helmets, hats or hoodies and revealing your face.

It is hoped these steps will help to reduce stealing from petrol stations.
