Idiot robber leaves his CV
A BUNGLING armed robber who raided a UK bookmaker shop was easily caught by police – because he left his CV there after failing to get a job.
Umar Mirza, 26, who had gambling debts, walked into a Paddy Power store in Birmingham wearing a hood and a mask. He produced a gun and made staff hand over $28,000. But Mirza removed his disguise as he left and bosses who had interviewed him recognised him on CCTV.
They passed his details to police. Officers searched his home and found the replica gun and the demand note, written on a betting slip.
He was jailed for six years.
