Warner sits out training
AUSTRALIAN vice-captain David Warner sat out training yesterday, a day after copping a bouncer in the neck during a trial game.
Warner passed a concussion test after being hit by a Josh Hazlewood ball during an intra-squad game in Darwin, as the Test squad prepare to depart for Bangladesh tomorrow.
But he’s been rested from training ahead of the two-Test tour.
“He’s a little bit sore and stiff in the neck but, just speaking to him then, he’s all fine,” Pat Cummins said.
