Rogic’s Celtic set for UCL

SOCCEROO Tom Rogic is set for his third-straight European Champions League campaign after Celtic thrashed Astana 5-0 in the first leg of their qualification playoff yesterday.

Midfielder Rogic created the opening goal after 30 minutes by driving into the six-yard box before his crossshot was diverted into the net by Astana defender Evgeni Postnikov.

Rogic, who will play a key part in World Cup qualifying, played 63 minutes before being taken off when a head clash left him bleeding.
