Cowboys not riding into sunset

-

THEY have been ravaged by injury and written off as premiership contenders but the message has not filtered through to North Queensland.

The Cowboys could be missing eight first-grade regulars when they tackle the Sharks at 1300SMILES Stadium tomorrow night in what is shaping as a crucial clash for the finals contenders.

The Cowboys are teetering in eighth position and will drop to ninth if the Dragons can upset Brisbane at Suncorp Stadium tonight.

But hooker Jake Granville said they would not be going down without a fight.

“Our depth has been tested all year but we’ve got fellas that step up,” he said.

“We believe in ourselves

100 per cent.

“We think we can get the job done if we play as well as we can and put as much effort in as we have.”
