Ex-President in graft trial
BRAZILIAN ex-president Fernando Collor has been formally charged in connection with the massive Petrobras corruption scandal.
Collor, who was in office from 1990-92 and is now a senator, is charged with “passive corruption”, money laundering and racketeering.
He became the third senator to be formally charged in the investigation of the megascandal, after Gleisi Hoffmann and Valdir Raupp.
