Barking mad over Alfie

EIGHT police officers swooped on a pensioner’s home to seize her tiny Yorkshire terrier after he allegedly ran at a courier.

They arrived in five cars to collect Alfie, 10, who is just 15cm tall and weighs 6.35kg, from his London home under the Dangerous Dogs Act.

Owner Claudia SettimoBovio, 73, said the reaction was “really over the top”.
