Having become a major success, the centre undergoes its first major upgrade and expansion. Myer, one of its longeststanding retailers, moves into the centre where it continues to operate today. Coles, a founding retailer, moved to a larger space with a further 32 speciality shops moving in. Pacific Fair’s popular passenger train begins tours around the centre.
