Airbnb fits like a Glover

HOLIDAY letting website Airbnb has hit back at racism claims by hiring Hollywood actor Danny Glover.

The Lethal Weapon star, who campaigns against poverty and injustice, will advise the company on how to improve its image with black customers.

Airbnb has been attacked for allegedly giving a platform to racist hosts who only want white guests to stay in their homes.

Glover said the business, which is based in San Francisco, was determined to do the right thing.

He added: “I know Airbnb has had its own share of challenges in this arena. But working with them, I’ve seen firsthand how committed they are to getting it right”.
