Pressure on for low Geoff

GEOFF Ogilvy says the stress of saving his US Tour card last week had him primed to keep his season alive.

At 116th in the FedEx Cup standings, the 40-year-old could miss the top 100, which qualify for the second playoffs event in Boston next week.

Ogilvy shared 39th at one-overpar after a one-under 69 during the third round of the Northern Trust in New York, the first leg of the Tour’s four-tournament post-season.

It set up an elimination round for 2006 US Open winner Ogilvy.
