SoPo Dining Room at Southport is celebratin­g its first birthday with a Mountain Goat beer luncheon. The six-course beer-matched menu is $90.

This Father’s Day the star attraction at Clifford’s Grill & Lounge will be a 1kg T-bone steak to share. The man-sized “Man T” is chargrille­d on the restaurant’s 10-burner grill, sliced off the bone and served with dipping sauces. The two or three course Father’s Day set menu also includes starters of freshly shucked Pacific oysters, wagyu beef carpaccio, seared tuna, and buffalo mozzarella with prosciutto and heirloom tomatoes. For main there’s the choice of free-range chicken, Cape Grim sirloin, Atlantic salmon or pumpkin and pesto gnocchi. Clifford’s slow-cooked lamb shoulder is another share suggestion. Top it off with the bombe Alaska with salted caramel ice cream and buttered popcorn. Choose two courses for $55 or three for $65. All dads receive a schooner of James Squires Pale Ale on arrival. Lunch is from 12-3pm and dinner 6pm-late.

The Collective Palm Beach has teamed up with Balter Brewing Company for an afternoon of beer and food matching from 47pm. Better with Balter includes food from all five of The Collective’s kitchens to go with boutique beers selected by Balter’s head brewer, including a tasting of a limited release. Tickets are $89 plus BF.
