Keeping eye out for No.1

SOCCEROOS goalkeeper Mitch Langerak has been ruled out of Thursday’s World Cup qualifier against Japan and has been given leave to sort out “issues” with his German club VfB Stuttgart.

Adam Federici will join the camp in Tokyo today as his replacement.

Langerak, 29, has not played a minute this season for the Bundesliga side after helping them win promotion and is believed to be looking at options ahead of the end of the European transfer window on August 31.
