WILFUL DAMAGE – VARISTY LAKES

POLICE would like to talk to an alleged Cinderella crook in regards to a wilful damage crime at Varsity Lakes.

A man allegedly kicked in the front door of a gym on South Bay Drive around 12.30am on August 20, shattering the glass. During the incident his shoe fell off.

The man reached inside to pick up his shoe before leaving the scene.

He is described as caucasian, approximat­ely 17 to 20 years old, with a fair complexion, about 175cm, and of a thin build. He was wearing a dark-coloured, long-sleeved hoodie, with writing on the front, beigecolou­red, below knee-length cargo pants, and white trainer shoes with thick soles. UNAUTHORIS­ED USE OF A MOTOR VEHICLE

ON August 21 a man entered an undercover carpark of an apartment building in Currumbin and allegedly stole a white Kia Picanto.

The accused crime happened around 5.10pm on Teemangum Street. The car was found undamaged on August 28 in an undergroun­d carpark on First Avenue, Broadbeach.

Police would like to speak with the man pictured, who is described as around 30 years of age, caucasian, 182cm tall with a thin build, unshaven and wearing a black cap with yellow emblem on the front. STEALING – BROADBEACH

POLICE want to speak to a woman in relation to the theft of expensive glasses from an optometris­t at a Broadbeach shopping centre. The woman allegedly tried on a number of display glasses around 3.15pm on August 11 before taking a pair worth around $600 and leaving without paying. The woman is described as caucasian with a fair completion, early 40s, proportion­ate build, dark brown/ bronze-coloured hair. She was wearing glasses and a red-hooded T-shirt with the number “9” on the front, black pants and black shoes. She was pushing a pram. Photo reference: QP17014349­38
