Christian in T20 final win

AUSTRALIAN Dan Christian captained Nottinghamshire to a 22-run win over Warwickshire yesterday to help the county claim the England Twenty20 title.

Christian made an unbeaten 24 from eight deliveries as Nottinghamshire posted 4-190, after Zimbabwean Brendan Taylor scored 65 (49 balls) and England’s Samit Patel scored an unbeaten 64 off 42.

Christian belted the final four balls of the innings for four, six, six, four. Warwickshire scored 8-168 in reply.
