DO YOU THINK THE LOGIES SHOULD BE HELD ON THE GOLD COAST AND WHERE DO YOU THINK THE BEST VENUE WOULD BE? Smritee Darcy, 38, Robina: That would be pretty cool. I think the Gold Coast is quite a good venue, it’s a party town here. We have so many venues, the Star would be good. Mel Burns, 38, Broadbeach: I think the Gold Coast is a great place (for the Logies). It is a beautiful venue with gorgeous places. Joe Burns, 40, Broadbeach: Yes, it’s not too bad. There’s heaps to do here. The celebrities enjoy themselves and it depends on the time of year. Tom Matthew, 36, Ormeau: As long as taxpayers didn’t have to pay for it, it’s okay. Maybe stick them in Ormeau or Logan ... just for a laugh. Adrian Walter, 50, Brisbane: Yeah, it would be all right. The Gold Coast is a good place for it. The Convention Centre would be a good place for it. Victoria Hall, 70, Mermaid Beach: It would probably be good for the Gold Coast. It’s got to be in a closed in place, the Convention Centre is quite big. Or the Gold Coast Arts Centre, but it’s a bit small.
