MASKED and ready for a latenight fight Nathan Briggs, Shane Kevin Lemmar and Ben John Rowe stormed Scott Vidler’s Helensvale property in early September 2015.

The trio yesterday pleaded guilty to the assault and robbery of Lemmar’s former housemate Mr Vidler.

The court heard Mr Vidler was kicked and punched and had his right wrist “completely slashed” through his tendons as they men looted the house.

Mr Vidler’s hands were then bound with electrical tape.

All three men were charged with grievous bodily harm, armed robbery, deprivation of liberty and robbery with actual violence, while armed, in company. The court heard “mastermind” Lemmar previously lived with Mr Vidler and claimed he knew where he kept his prized possessions.

When the masked group arrived, Briggs said: “You’re dead (expletive)” before starting the attack, the court heard.

Briggs also pleaded guilty to a bizarre “drug-fuelled rage incident” where he side-swiped a truck on the M1 before getting out of the car and bashing the driver through the window and wielding a knife.

Lemmar, 46, was sentenced to a head sentence of five years in jail.

The sentence was suspended after Judge Kent declared 332 days custody as time already served.

Rowe, 36, who the court heard drove to the home and played an active role in the assault, was jailed for five years.

He will be eligible for parole in February 2018.

Briggs was sentenced to a head sentence of seven years jail. He will be eligible for parole in May 2018.
