MEN’S CHOIR

Fresh from a successful run at the Las Vegas International Barbershop competition, Helensvale men’s choir Sound Connection is looking for new members.

The 30-man capella chorus, which includes six father and son combinations, have an average age of 45 but the youngest member is just nine.

The group will this month travel to Sydney to compete in the National and Pan Pacific competition where they will showcase their harmonies.

Men and boys of every age are invited to join them on Monday nights at 7pm at the Helensvale Cultural Centre, 62 Sir John Overall Dr. No experience is necessary. Call 0407 854 708, email events@soundconnection.com. au or just turn up to rehearsal.
