War letters retrieved
A DUTCH man who lost his briefcase filled with passionate letters written by his father during World War II has been reunited with his precious cargo.
Adrien Mueller was handed back the letters by a couple who discovered the case on a railway platform at Utrecht station. The couple posted the find on Facebook, which had more than 27,700 shares and Mr Mueller was tracked down.
The letters give a glimpse into what his German father experienced as a soldier who never returned from fighting on the Eastern Front.
