Youth program music to the ears
THIRTY-SIX young people have joined a free musical program supported by Elanora Police Beat.
In 2009 local Ian Grace approached Palm Beach Police with the idea for the program. Youth Music Venture allows young people to receive 16 weeks of mentoring from musicians.
Senior Constable Kurt Foessel, who joined the committee when it first began, praised the community, business and local politician support.
The members perform at Currumbin RSL after the 16 weeks are over.
