CONNOR O’BRIEN REPORTS P39

RABBITOHS great John Sattler has urged the Titans to do everything they can to get sacked South Sydney coach Michael Maguire to the Gold Coast for the 2018 NRL season.

A shrewd football mind, a no-nonsense policy and a genuine care for his players are just the thing the Titans need after they, too, sacked their coach Neil Henry before the end of the NRL season.

“I think he’d be excellent for the Titans,” Sattler said.

“The club needs a really big shake-up and Michael, I believe, is the man to do the job.

“He’s a man who will not be told what to do by officials and some players who do not have a clue.

“On top of that he is a really good fellow, a real man’s man, a good coach and one who cares about the players.”
