Car found at cliff base

POLICE divers have been unable to see if anyone is inside the wreckage of a car found at Cape Bauer on South Australia’s Eyre Peninsula.

It’s understood the car, found in the water at the base of Cape Bauer on South Australia’s Eyre Peninsula, is severely damaged and authorities are unable to search the vehicle.

The upside-down car was spotted on a shallow reef shelf just before noon yesterday.

It’s unclear if authorities would attempt to retrieve the vehicle before first light today.
