Impossible Foods is the first company to extract specific proteins from plants and then combine them with simple, natural ingredients like amino acids, vitamins and fats to create delicious, healthy, affordable meat and dairy foods. An Impossible Burger uses about 1/20th the land, 1/4th the water, and produces 1/8th the greenhouse gas emissions compared to a conventional beef burger. The company has attracted serious investment from Bill Gates and Google Ventures.
