STEALING – BROADBEACH

POLICE would like to identify a man in relation to a stealing matter at a shopping centre in Broadbeach. About 12.45pm on September 5 a man took two shirts and jackets off their hangers at a shop.

When a staff member asked if he needed help, he ran away without trying to pay.

The man is described as caucasian, of slim build, tall, aged early-to-mid-30s with a dark beard, wearing a black-hooded jumper with black logo, black baseball cap, dark green shorts, a black Nike backpack and blue and white runners.

FRAUD – BROADBEACH

POLICE would like to speak with a man over an alleged brush with the law.

He is accused of fraud in relation to an electric toothbrush and it has left police with a bad taste in their mouth.

On September 2, a man entered a Broadbeach store and allegedly put an item in his bag. He produced an electric toothbrush and provided a receipt for the toothbrush bought the previous day. He successful­ly received a refund, but checks revealed a different person bought the toothbrush and another was missing from the shelf. The man is described as caucasian, early 20s, medium build, about 177cm, wearing a backwards cap over dark hair and a black singlet top with a large white cross.

THIS man is wanted for questionin­g about the theft of a mobile phone from a Burleigh Heads store.

About 3.45pm on September 2 a man looked at a number of mobile phones before taking one and concealing it in a pamphlet and leaving the store. The man is described as dark skinned, 30-40 years old, of stocky build, shaved black hair with a goatee beard, brown eyes and 182cm tall.

He wore a black button-up shirt, black trousers and dark sunglasses on top of his head.
