TITANS KICK BACK AND ENJOY BIG NIGHT

- KRISTY MUIR See sport P44

THE Gold Coast Titans rolled out the “blue” carpet at the QT Hotel last night, where players, coaching staff and officials gathered for their annual awards night.

While there was plenty of attention on the football wives and their frocks, stars of the show were Paul Broughton Medal winner Anthony Don, who just pipped hooker Nathan Peats and prop Jarrod Wallace for the honour as the club’s best player of 2017.

State of Origin forward Wallace’s partner, former Miss World Australia Courtney Thorpe, rocked a short but elegant pale pink dress, nude shoes and a clutch.

Wallace looked polished in cream pants and tan shoes with a matching pale pink shirt under his navy jacket.

The pair only made their public debut as a couple last month at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival luncheon in Brisbane.

“It’s been a great move for me to come back to the Gold Coast and whilst it wasn’t a great year on the field, it’s been a great move personally,” Wallace told the Bulletin.

“It’s great to be here with my partner and enjoy the evening.”
