Dogs put Stringer on table

WESTERN Bulldogs coach Luke Beveridge has confirmed forward Jake Stringer is on the AFL trade table.

Beveridge said yesterday it was a mutual decision by the Bulldogs and the 23-year-old.

But the coach added Stringer would only leave if the right deal could be struck and believed there was a chance he might stay. After making the 2015 All-Australian team and playing in last year’s historic premiership team, Stringer had his struggles on and off the field this year as the Bulldogs dropped out of the finals.
