To force people aged over 55 to work for the dole is cruel. I’ve worked hard for 35 years and due to technology became unemployed. Never been on the dole before. I want to work but to be sent to a charity where I was to polish glasses and crockery, spoken to like a slave and beg for my meal breaks was humiliating. Doing brain-dead unproductive work is not helping me find work, it’s just depressing.
