ARVO HEAT NO AID IN BID TO LAND SNAPPER

WE have finally cracked it for decent weather in the mornings – unfortunately for those chasing snapper the afternoon bite has been way hotter and by then the wind has been up. On the 50 fathom reefs there have been small Kingfish and Amberjacks. Have a live bait on one rod and jig with another if you’re chasing them. In closer the 36 fathom reef has had squire and even the odd tailor using pilchards. If you want striped marlin out wide, there were a couple caught this week in around 120m of water. If you find the bait you’ll find the fish.
