TITANS COAST TO SUMMER BREAK

-

WEDNESDAY night’s award presentation for the Titans’ players was their last official duty for this season before they come back to training.

We asked some of the notables at the awards what their plans are for the break.

Chris McQueen: “There will be a lot of work to do because we are renovating the house. Plus if I have time I’d love to get in some camping and fishing and get away from everything.”

Konrad Hurrell: “First I’ll be heading to New Zealand to catch up with family and friends. Then I’ll fly over to Tonga to see my mother and father. I can’t wait to get back there.” Ash Taylor: “I’m off to Phuket in Thailand for a good holiday. All I want to do is relax, chill and have some fun.”

Jarryd Hayne: “At the moment it’s all about the Rugby League World Cup and then we’ll see.”

Kane Elgey: “My partner Georgie and I are heading to Hawaii and then America. We’re hiring a car and going to drive around, see the sights and enjoy ourselves.”

Jarrod Wallace: “There’s a fair bit of panel beating to do on my body including a shoulder operation. Then we’re heading over to Bali to get away from everything and simply have a good time.”

John Grant: “My work as the chairman of the ARL Commission has meant that I haven’t had an off season for the past two years. This year looks like being the same but there is Christmas Day … does that count?”
