Malaguerra a hot prospect

-

THE Gelagotis brothers are happy to discuss a potential slot in The Everest for their Group 1-winning sprinter Malaguerra.

“He’s come to hand so well. He’ll be ready to go if somebody wants to take up a slot with him,” Manny Gelagotis said of The Everest, the world’s richest turf race to be run at Randwick on October 14.

Malaguerra ran second behind Basset in a 800m trial at Cranbourne yesterday.

“The key is if anybody is interested they need to talk to us quickly as we need to set a plan for him.

“At the moment he’s going to run in the Moir Stakes (September 29) and then into the Manikato (October 27).”
