IRWIN JR’S EYE FOR A PICTURE
PASSION for wildlife clearly runs in the Irwin family.
Robert Irwin, son of “Crocodile Hunter” Steve Irwin, is following in his late father’s footsteps with his own take on nature.
The 13-year-old has developed into an accomplished photographer, demonstrated in an incredible series of candid images of wildlife in their natural habitat.
Robert, who “travels the world in search of incredible images of wildlife and wild places”, according to the bio on his website, has taken photos in remote locations from Africa to New Zealand.
Steve Irwin died in September 2006 after being pierced in the chest by a stingray barb while filming an underwater documentary.
ROBERT Irwin, son of the late “Crocodile Hunter” Steve Irwin, sure knows his way around a camera.
The 13-year-old (right) has had his work published in Australia Zoo’s Crikey magazine and other publications worldwide, and received recognition in major photography competitions, including being named a junior finalist in the 2017 Australian Geographic Nature Photographer of Year competition.
