BRITISH royal Prince Andrew has spent a whirlwind few days on the Gold Coast judging entreprene­urs, cuddling koalas and chatting to Commonweal­th Games volunteers.

His Royal Highness the Duke of York told one GOLDOC employee a number of “very important people” would visit the Coast during next year’s Commonweal­th Games.

Taleah Kneebone, 25, who will be working in the Games Village and greeting VIPs, met the Prince at the Gold Coast Sports and Leisure Centre at Carrara on Saturday.

“He was so human, I can’t stop smiling every time I think about it, it was actually one of the highlights of my life,” she said.
