Old targets at Surfers

THE site amalgamation game is heating up, with older buildings on the oceanfront in Surfers Paradise again in the “game”.

Those mooted to be targets in what, if successful, would create a major site are The Shore, Monaco and Dolphins buildings, along with a retail property behind them.

They’re south of a holding put together for Singapore’s Banyan Tree group and of Honkers big-hitter Tony Fung’s Pacific Point, which he plans to replace with a six-star hotel.
