Trump’s snub no surprise

GOLDEN State coach Steve Kerr said yesterday he was unsurprised by US President Donald Trump’s White House snub as the NBA champions announced plans to make their own trip to the capital.

Kerr said he had expected Trump to withdraw the invitation after several Warriors players expressed misgivings about a White House reception. Kerr voiced disgust at Trump’s remarks on Friday in which he said that players protesting against the national anthem should be fired.
