Police urge skaters to be careful

POLICE are urging skateboarders to exercise caution after two men were seriously injured on the Gold Coast during the past week.

A 40-year-old man was in a critical condition in hospital after falling off his board at Pimpama on Friday night.

In a separate incident a man in his 30s was rushed to hospital after coming off his board at Labrador at about 5.30am.

Paramedics were dispatched to the corner of Olsen Ave and Central St.
