The Pink Ribbon Race Day has again hit its straps in the pursuit of funds for breast cancer research

PINK RIBBON RACE DAY GCTC, Bundall

IT STARTED 10 years ago when Dr Robyn Cameron sought to raise money for the National Breast Cancer Foundation. On Saturday her vision and incredible energy was again rewarded when 900 people headed to the event centre at the GCTC for the Birkbecks Jewellers Pink Ribbon Race Day. Robyn, a two-time breast cancer survivor, and her many pink attired volunteers were out in force gathering as much as they could for this most worthy of causes.
