MAKE IT: PINE CONE BIRD FEEDER

Provide birds with a food source. Best to do this outside as it can get a little messy.

What you need: Pine cone (opened); paper plate; knife; peanut butter (smooth); birdseed; string

How to make: Tie some string around the pine cone near the top.

Use the knife to spread peanut butter inside the pine cone and around the edges. Sprinkle the birdseed over the pine cone. Use the plate to catch excess seed. Roll the pine cone in the birdseed that is on the plate. Hang the bird feeder on a tree.
