Police need your help to crack crime on the Coast

PETROL DRIVE-OFF – NERANG

POLICE would like to speak with a man after he drove off without paying for petrol last month. Around 8pm on August 28 a white four-wheeldrive with stolen registrati­on plates was driven to a Ferry Street petrol station in Nerang. The driver went to the passenger side of the car and filled up a jerry can with premium unleaded fuel before leaving without attempting to pay.

STEALING – ROBINA

A number of clothes are believed to have been stolen from a designer store at Robina.

Around 3.30pm on September 14 a man and a woman were observed selecting Hugo Boss and Imporio Armani clothing at a Robina shopping centre store. The pair entered the fitting room then left without any items in their hands. No items were left in the changing room. The man is described as caucasian, mid to late 20s, 185cm tall, of solid build, wearing a green T-shirt, black shorts, black runners, black watch, white framed sunglasses and has a black right eye.

The woman is described as late 20s, dark complexion, 170cm tall, of medium build with long straight black hair and wearing black shorts, black jumper. She had a large tattoo on her right upper thigh.

THIS man could assist police with investigat­ions into a stealing offence at Robina earlier this month. A man entered an entertainm­ent store at a Robina shopping centre where he picked up an Apple iPhone 7 and put it into his pocket. He did not try to pay for the item. He is described as 35-40 years old, about 170cm tall, of medium build with a bald head and wearing a white hoody with the words UNIT on the front and the sleeves pushed up.
