Actor eyes Coast seat

ACTOR Luz Stanton has been named as the Labor Part’s candidate for the seat of Theodore at the upcoming state election.

The seat, formerly known as Albert, covers the northern Gold Coast and Logan and has been held by the LNP’s Mark Boothman since 2012.

Ms Stanton, from Upper Coomera, has lived on the Gold Coast for more than 20 years and the mother of two has recently worked in the vocational education sector.
