Crackdown on tram customers

SURFERS PARADISE police and G: Link customer service officers are targeting fare compliance and unruly behaviour on the light rail.

Senior Sergeant Paul Hunter said patrons using the light rail could expect to be asked to show their ticket by police and customer service officers. The joint operation, which also includes senior network officers, will run until October 1.
